Writings

I find writing is a great way to convey a variety of ideas or instructions and enjoy writing about most anything. Obviously things I relate to are easier, but things I don’t know give me the opportunity to learn something new. After all, if you’re going to teach or write about it, you’re going to have to know it.

As a volunteer media coordinator and photo journalist for a state park, I enjoyed educating the public on environmental awareness and enjoyed seeing several of my articles published in the local paper.  While volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center, I had the privilege to teach individuals animal education and environmental concepts via live presentations. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing people understand something new.
